Growing up in New York, I was surrounded by the most wonderful art in the world.  Whether it was attending a Broadway play, going to the ballet or visiting the Metropolitan Museum, art was always a huge part of my life.

As a child, I enjoyed sewing, needlepointing, pottery and creating beaded flowers.  My love of art continued into adulthood as I learned bookbinding, letterpress and jewelry making.  It brings me great joy to take beautiful paper and create a book or box, simple white paper transforms into lovely stationery, gift tags and notepads, pieces of silver become a wonderful necklace or bracelet.  I especially enjoy sharing my creations with others. The smiles on their faces when I present them with something I have made makes all the time and effort worthwhile.

For the past 15 years, I have shared a studio with 4 other women; together we laugh, create and share ideas.  Through art, we have grown to be close friends who challenge each other to be better people and better artists.  In our studio we escape into a wonderful creative space where we grow as artists and explore a wide variety of artistic endeavors.
