Charlotte Edwards
I began creating jewelry through metal fabrication, for enjoyment, about twelve years ago while pursuing a corporate career. Once I retired, I began to expand into the craft of metal clay jewelry, which quickly became my passion! I soon became an instructor in metal clay, teaching for several years at the Craft Guild of Dallas, and now teach private classes at my studio. While I love creating jewelry, I find that I really love helping others explore and find their own passion in creating wearable works of fine art in this versatile medium.
A Senior Certified Instructor in metal clay, I have also studied at the Sawtooth School for Visual Art in Winston-Salem, Creative Side in Austin, and at the Art Clay World studios in Chicago. I’ve been fortunate enough to learn from notable jewelry artists such as: Wanaree Tanner, Cindy Pope, Anna Mazon, Pam East, and Jackie Trudy.
I regularly show in local juried art shows and on an invitation-only local artist studio tour.
